17th February/ 19th February / 21st February/ 7th March
Liverpool is famous for the Liver Bird, a mythical bird which is the symbol of the city. The most famous of which are the birds on the magnificent Royal Liver Building, the first-ever Skyscraper in the UK.
What you may not know is that are in fact over 100 Liver Birds in Liverpool, hidden in the architecture of this fine city.
Join us for a fun, lively walking tour safari around the city centre, as we go Liver Bird-spotting. Starting at The Bluecoat, visiting St. Georgeโs Plateau, William Brown Street, and Castle Street; learn about the history of Liverpool along the way.
This two-hour tour finishes near the Waterfront.
The tour is free and supported by Liverpool Business Improvement District.
ArtsGroupie CIC
ArtsGroupie is a Liverpool based community interest company that is promoting and providing access to the arts in the North West and beyond.
We achieve this through developing our own touring theatre and music productions, and by facilitating educational workshops for both adults and children in creative writing and spoken word.
Ethically, our productions are created in collaboration with local artists to champion North West talent. We then take theatre and writing showcases to overlooked areas where access to the arts is limited. This has previously included Liverpoolโs most deprived areas and rural areas nationally.
Must-See Month. Must-see, can’t-miss, the incredible events and offers from the 13th February – 13th March.
