Walker Art Gallery

The Walker Art Gallery first opened in 1877. It was built by Andrew Barclay Walker, a local brewer, to celebrate his term as Mayor of Liverpool.
The gallery holds a famous and hugely varied collection of artworks, including nearly 700 yearsโ worth of paintings, drawings, sculpture, decorative objects, ceramics and fashion items.
